WAILUKU-- Maui Marketplace, is pleased to announce the opening of Seafood City Supermarket on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at 9 a.m.
This popular Filipino supermarket chain is making its grand debut at Maui Marketplace with a full service 37,000-square-foot market complete with an authentic Filipino specialty bakery and a Filipino Grill/Restaurant.
Seafood City Supermarket is renowned for delivering high-quality, authentic Filipino specialties at unbeatable prices. Founded with a deep understanding of the immigrant experience, Seafood City aims to fill a significant void in the lives of the Filipino community. Since opening its first store in National City, California in 1989, the chain has expanded its footprint beyond California to Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Washington State and Texas, capturing a dedicated following of Filipino food lovers across the country.
Customers will find an extensive selection of fresh fish and seafood, as well as hard-to-find fruits and vegetables, premium meat products, delectable bakery items, and an array of home and kitchen goods. The store also features a dedicated health and beauty section and a large patio for celebrations, birthdays, events, and more.

On the Grand Opening Day, Seafood City is also offering the first 100 customers a 15lb calrose rice bag for $1 and the next 100 customers get one free BBQ pork or chicken from Grill City.
