Rolston wrote in her submission, “Driving home from work on South Kihei Road something irresistible catches my eye. Stealing a moment from my busy schedule, I pull over to snap a photo; a grounded boat is perched in the sand, lapped by gentle waves, caressed by warm salty winds, and subjected daily to picturesque sunsets. I feel a twinge of envy. It’s not that I want to be a boat, but I think it’d be nice to trade places with her, if only for a little while.”
