We made it to the New Year everyone. Can you believe it? Neither can we.
We hope you enjoyed your New Year's Eve festivities and are ready to start 2025 off right with one of these awesome events happening on Maui.
So while you are finishing your New Year's resolutions and getting ready for 2025 and all that it will bring, don't forget to stop by one of the many fun events hosted by a variety of Maui businesses and venues this coming week and into next.
Whether that means stopping by the monthly First Friday event in Wailuku or checking out The Sentry tournament at the Plantation Course in Kapalua, Maui's 2025 event outlook is excellent.

The Sentry at The Plantation Course at Kapalua (Thursday-Sunday, Jan. 2-Jan 5; times vary, Kapalua): It's that time of the year again. Head to West Maui for The Sentry at the Plantation Course in Kapalua this week. The opening drive returns to Maui as it hosts The Sentry for its 27th year. All tickets to The Sentry and general parking passes can be purchased by visiting thesentry.com/tickets. Prices and times vary.
Native Pollinator Garden Volunteer Day (Friday, Jan. 3; 9 a.m.-11 a.m., Kihei): Keālia Pond National Wildlife Refuge provides foraging and nesting opportunities for various endangered and endemic bird species. Also located within the refuge is a native pollinator garden, and volunteers are welcome on Fridays. Visitors may learn about native Hawaiian pollinators and their host plants. Volunteers are responsible for trimming back plants, removing debris, basic trail maintenance and more. Knowledge of basic gardening and interest in being outdoors is required. Lahaina Arts Society Art Fair (Friday-Saturday, Jan. 3-4; 10 a.m.- 3 p.m., Lahaina): Award winning juried paintings, ceramics, photography, glass art, woodwork, feather art, jewelry and more handmade by Maui artists will be on display this weekend. Every Friday and Saturday, head outside on the grass at Lahaina Cannery Mall to view locally-made art. Go to ShopMauiArt.com for more information.
Pau Hana Friday Series Features Hawaiian Music (Friday, Jan. 3; 3 p.m.- 5 p.m., West Maui): Located at Maui Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Factory, 78 Ulupono St. in Lahaina, check out Red Dirt Jazz Fusion with Avi Ronen on guitar, John Zangrando on tenor sax, Rick Bodinus on drums and Jason Ganis on bass. Drew Martin with Desert Hollow at the ProArts Playhouse (Friday, Jan. 3; 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m., Kihei): Singer-songwriter Drew Martin, "Maui's answer to Bob Dylan," returns to ProArts in Kihei with dynamic duo Desert Hollow.
