Smell of propane leads to Lono Building evacuation

A propane gas smell on the second and third floor of the Lono Building in Kahului forced the evacuation of tenants and customers around noon Friday.
Authorities said the smell might have come from the unloading of propane tanks near Kahului Harbor.
No one was injured, although the incident did stall traffic a bit.
