Aloha Recycling's location in Kahului is closed indefinitely as a result of a Jan. 23 fire that burned its office trailer.
The recycling center had hoped to reopen in a couple of days following the fire, but that timeline has been extended.
Aloha Recycling also has recycling facilities in Haiku, Kihei and Makawao.
The building was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene after receiving the initial alarm at 5:08 a.m. Jan. 23.
The fire also destroyed scales and computers used to redeem recyclables, including glass, plastic and cans.
