Ledcor presents final environmental study
Ledcor Maui LP has asked the Maui Planning Commission to accept its final environmental impact statement for a single-family and multifamily residential development of 925 to 975 units.
The proposed project includes workforce housing on 156 acres within Kihei and Wailea, including 780 market units and 195 workforce units.
A commission meeting will take place at 9 a.m. March 25 at the Kalana Pakui Building in Wailuku.
Also included in the study are roadway improvements, base yards, utility, access and infrastructure improvements. The proposed development has eight properties totaling 156 acres, seven of which are in Wailea and one is in Kihei.
The county Planning Department said it has reviewed the final study and concludes the document meets the criteria for acceptance.
The Department is requesting the commission to accept the Final EIS.
