Maui residents are invited to a free community health and wellness event April 26 at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center in Kahului.

Hosted by the Hawai’i Oral Health Coalition in partnership with the Hawai’i Dental Service Foundation and Hawai’i Public Health Institute, the “Smiles for Miles” event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offer free dental, hearing, vision and other health screenings for adults and children.

The event will also feature family-friendly activities, wellness classes, health resource exhibitors, and an oral health-themed fun walk. Free dental products and giveaways will be available while supplies last.

The first 30 keiki to receive a dental screening will get a $50 Famous Footwear gift card, courtesy of Hui No Ke Ola Pono and Project Giving Tree. No registration is required. For more, email info@hiohc.org.
