Pet of the Week: Charlie

1 min read
Aloha kākou! My name is Charlie and I am the Maui Humane Society’s Pet of the Week. I was found lost and scared at the Waihe‘e Macnut Farms back in January — thin, nervous and unsure of the world. Since arriving at Maui Humane Society, I’ve come a long way. I’ve learned to walk on a leash, discovered the joy of squeaky toys and made some awesome doggy friends. I especially love splashing around in the doggy pools — it’s my happy place! I’m a goofy guy who can be a little shy at first, but give me some tasty treats and a gentle hello, and you’ll see my zoomies in no time. I’m looking for an ‘ohana who will show me the kind, patient love I’ve been waiting for. Could that be you? Let’s meet and I can show you just how silly I am!

The Pet of the Week is a weekly feature submitted by the Maui Humane Society to promote adoptions at the Maui Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.
