Healing Aloha director to speak at Rotary Club

On May 14, the Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea will welcome Rosemarie Johnson, representing Healing Aloha and sharing the importance of addressing collective trauma through Healing Aloha’s Breath Awareness initiative.
Focused on healing collective trauma, the Breath Awareness initiative encourages self-care through conscious breathwork. Healing Aloha also offers resources such as trauma-release workshops, an online symposium and a youth program aimed at fostering emotional stability and well-being.
Johnson is an accredited strategist with over 30 years of experience who speaks nationally on maintaining self-care and balance and mental resilience for first responders.
Since the 2024 Maui wildfires, Johnson has been involved in Healing Aloha. The initiative was recently recognized internationally with a Humanitarian Action & Service Award for Social Impact.
