The Los Angeles Rams will be in Maui for a minicamp next week, and with Wednesday’s on-field activities that are open to the public selling out, county authorities are warning people what to expect.

According to Maui County officials, a traffic advisory has been issued for 6 a.m. to noon Wednesday for roadways surrounding War Memorial Complex and Keōpūolani Regional Park in Kahului. The minicamp will be at the War Memorial Complex, and those public facilities will be closed to recreational use.

Drivers are also being advised to expect delays in the area, plan according to traffic changes and follow instructions from onsite Maui Police Department officials.

On Kanaloa Avenue, no left turns will be permitted between Kaʻahumanu Avenue and Mikohu Loop. Traffic boards and cones will be placed.

Drivers should enter Kanaloa Avenue from Lower Beach Road heading south. For Kanaloa Avenue southbound traffic, the right lane will go to the stadium parking lot while the left lane is for through traffic and vehicles going to the rideshare area.

The Boys and Girls Club of Maui, Maui Nui Botanical Gardens and the Maui Family YMCA are maintaining regular business hours during this event period, and people are asked to be considerate and not to block their operations or parking.

The War Memorial gymnasium parking lot will be reserved for authorized access only.
