High surf advisory issued for south-facing shores
A moderate south to southwest swell will bring advisory level surf to the Hawaiian Islands’ south facing shores from Saturday morning through early Sunday morning.
Surf heights are expected to fall just below advisory thresholds through the day Sunday.
An advisory forecasts the impacts to be moderate with strong breaking waves and strong currents making swimming dangerous. People are advised to heed advice from ocean safety officials and not to go into the water if in doubt.
