According to the latest AAA Hawaii Weekend Gas Watch, gas prices have experienced modest fluctuations amid increased summer travel demand.

As of Thursday, the statewide average price for regular unleaded was $4.46, which is two cents less than last week. The average national price was $3.16, which is the same as last week and 35 cents less than a year ago.

The average price in Kahului was $4.46, which is five cents less than last week and 27 cents lower than a year ago.
