Gas prices in Hawaii are continuing to hover near their lowest levels of the year, according to the AAA Hawaii Weekend Gas Watch.

As of Thursday, the statewide average price for regular unleaded was $4.48, which is one cent higher than last week and 21 cents lower than this time last year.

The average price in Kahului was $4.51, which is three cents more than last week and 22 cents lower than a year ago.

The average national price was $3.16, which is one cent lower than last week and 35 cents less than a year ago.
