Bank of Hawaiʻi announced Friday that it has been named one of Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces by State in 2025, earning a five-star rating for its commitment to employee satisfaction and workplace excellence.

According to a news release, the evaluation considered more than 100 performance indicators related to employee satisfaction, including work-life balance, compensation, career development and workplace culture.

The study placed particular emphasis on feedback from employees residing in the same state as the companies they evaluated.
