Maui Ki Aikido will be hosting a four-week introductory course to Japanese Bokken, a wooden sword martial arts discipline, at its dojo at 194 South Market St. in Wailuku.

The course will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning Aug. 6.

The fee is $40 and can be applied to ongoing dues if the participant joins the dojo to continue training after the end of the course.
