According to the latest AAA Hawaii weekend gas watch, as of July 10, the average price in Kahului was $4.48, which is one cent less than last week and 25 cents lower than the price was a year ago.

The price on Maui was the second highest in the state, trailing only Lihue. AAA reported the statewide average price for regular unleaded was $4.47, which is the same as last week. The average national price was $3.17, which is 36 cents less than a year ago.
