Maui Realtors Association awards 38 scholarships

The Realtors Association of Maui Community Foundation has awarded scholarships to 38 outstanding students from Maui County through its 2025 Presidential Scholarship program.
Each recipient received $1,000.
The recipients, who include graduating high school seniors and students already enrolled in college or trade school, were recognized at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on July 21 during a scholarship awards luncheon celebrating their academic achievements, community involvement and aspirations for higher education.
Since its inception in 1989, the scholarship program has provided more than $982,000 in financial support to nearly a thousand Maui County students pursuing their educational goals.
“This year’s scholarship recipients are an inspiring reflection of the talent, perseverance, and promise found across Maui County,” said Lynette Pendergast, organization president.
The 2025 RAMCF Presidential Scholarship recipients are Cadence Ako, Mekayla Bandy, Sophia Bunch, Sadie-Lyn Barbosa, Rose Marie Cockett, Makena Fleury-Devor, Sarah Fahnestock, Bianca Haugg, Kiana Haugg, Makena Heustis, Ginger Hill, Kailani Ibanez, Lia Kagehiro, Kalia Kaneta, Kamakanoweo Kekauoha-Schultz, Avery Kirkham, Kaitlin Kitagawa, Kaydence Lilio, Kaylee Miyamoto, Kyra Ong, Isabelle Perchar, Lilinoe Quitazol, Sienna Jolie Racoma,Chelsea Kalei Ramos, Christopher Salem, Ginger Sconfienza, Kai Shively, Caroline Sloper, Emily Sloper, Taika Swearingen, Sophia Topinio, Ikaika Wright, RubyVal Ybarra and Zoe Zane.
This year’s award presented to the highest-scoring applicant in the 2025 pool was given to Kamakanoweo Kekauoha-Schultz.
