The 18th annual Kū Mai Ka Hula, Maui’s only adult hula competition, will return to the Maui Arts and Cultural Center at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 11 and will continue through the weekend.

Weekend events start with a presentation and panel discussion. This year’s Kū Mai Ka Hula competition features award-winning hālau from around Hawaii, Japan and the continental U.S.

Tickets are $38 for adults and $21 for children 12 and under.
