The Bank of Hawai'i marked a milestone Monday with the blessing of its newly updated branch in Hana, which has served the community for more than 90 years.

According to the company, the Hana branch has been the only financial institution in the area since 1932. With new branding and updated decor, the 464-square-foot space has been modernized to include a private Pili room for in-person or virtual consultations, as well as a technology-focused teller bar.

Located in the Hana Shopping Center, the branch is open five days a week. The architect is Peter Vincent Architects, and the contractor is Arita Poulson.
