Four Maui students celebrated a milestone July 24 when they graduated from the diagnostic imaging summer experience, an eight-week paid internship made possible through a partnership between the University of Hawaii Maui College and Kaiser Permanente Hawaii.
The graduates are Kaysda Ong of Maui High School, Mary Joy Velasquez of Lahainaluna High School, Kyylie Cardena of Baldwin High School and Jasmyn Yun of Maui High School.
The event was held at the college campus and featured student presentations and was attended by family members, college faculty, and Kaiser Permanente clinical staff.
