A memorial fund has been established to honor Maui Police Officer Suzanne O, who was killed in the line of duty Aug. 15 at the Paia Sugar Mill.

According to the Maui Police Department, the Suzanne O Memorial Fund will help support her loved ones during this difficult time and keep her legacy of selfless service alive.

At this time, the only official ways to donate in Officer O’s honor are through this fund and the State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers Benevolent Fund. For more, go to ShopoHawaii.org/shopo-benevolent-fund.

MPD said that if online donations become possible, the department will provide an update with that information.
