Aloha Kakou! My name is Lu, and I’m Maui Humane Society’s Pet of the Week! I've come a long way since arriving at Maui Humane Society in September 2024. When I first got here, I was really skinny and unsure of people—but with time, love, and a whole lot of treats, I started to trust again. Now I’ve got a healthy weight, a few tricks under my belt (I can “sit” and give “paw” like a pro!), and I walk like a champ on leash. I’m currently living in a foster home with an awesome family who’s helping me build my confidence and learn that the world isn’t so scary after all. I still have a shy side, but once I warm up, I’ll be your loyal buddy for life. I’m ready for my forever home. Will it be with you?
