Using golf as a metaphor for life and the lessons it can impart, First Tee-Hawaii is offering a youth development program for children ages 7 to 17 at three Maui golf courses.
According to organizers, First Tee-Hawaii helps kids and teens build strength of character through golf.
Organizers said the need to empower our youth so that they’re prepared to tackle all of life’s challenges is more critical now than ever.
The five-week sessions, depending on course location and age group, will begin Aug. 4 and run through Sept.6. The cost is $89.
The Maui courses include the Dunes at Maui Lani, Maui Nui Golf Club in Kihei and at the Pukalani Country Club.
