Maui County offices, facilities and services will be closed or have modified hours Sept. 1 for the Labor Day holiday.

According to the county, there will be no hauling of Lahaina wildfire debris from the temporary disposal storage site in Olowalu to the permanent disposal site in Puunene.

Modified services include condensed holiday hours from 6 a.m.- noon for the Central Maui Landfill and Maui EKO compost and from 8 a.m.-noon for the Olowalu Recycling & Refuse convenience center.

Residential trash pick up and the Maui bus will have usual hours. All county offices and services will resume normal hours Sept. 2.
