Akakū Maui Community Media is launching “Maui Business Tuesdays,” a new bi-monthly series of salons highlighting the creativity, resilience and innovation of small businesses across Maui Nui.

Each salon will be presented in-person and online.

The first salon, “Maui Hawaiian Fashion Designers,” will spotlight three local businesses that celebrate Hawaiian culture through contemporary fashion including Anna Kahalekulu of Kūlua (Makawao), Courtney Lazo of Henohea Hawaii (Lahaina) and Gemma Alvior of Pulelehua Boutique (Kahului).

It will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at Akakū Upstairs, Suite 204, in Kahului. Registration is required for in-person and virtual attendance. For more, go to www.akaku.org/salons
