Bank offers emergency assistance loans during shutdown
Bank of Hawaii has started emergency financial assistance programs to support qualifying federal employees and contractors facing income disruption.
The bank is offering financial assistance programs, including a personal loan of $5,000 for up to 24 months at 5% fixed interest and a forbearance program of up to three months of full or partial loan payment on current residential mortgages, home equity loans/lines, and lines of credit.
There’s also an extension program that allows up to three months on a current direct installment and indirect auto loans and leases.
