King Kekaulike volleyball falls in five sets in first round of state playoffs

King Kekaulike lost to Campbell 24-26, 19-25, 25-14, 25-21, 15-9, in the first round of the state playoffs Wednesday.

Gwyneth McKillip recorded a team-high 14 kills, followed by Nanea Guarin with 12 kills and Naleeya Lund had 10. Alana Birrer and Nanea Kealoha each had 20 assists, and Kahiau Sores logged 17 digs in the match.

In the Division I state tournament, Kamehameha Maui received a first-round bye and will play Moanalua tonight in the quarterfinals.
