KS-Maui girls volleyball falls in quarterfinals at DI state tourney

The Kamehameha Maui girls volleyball team lost to Moanalua 22-25, 25-20, 25-23, 23-25, 15-13, in the quarterfinal round of the HHSAA Division I state tournament Thursday.
KS-Maui was led by Archer Fabarao who had a team-high 17 kills, 23 digs and three aces, followed by Uilani Ahana, who had 15 kills, 13 digs and four aces, and Kalena Mariani with 14 kills and seven digs. Warriors setter Hi’ilei Alo recorded 46 assists.
KS-Maui will face Mililani on Friday in the consolation bracket.
