Sports Lessons: What I enjoy the most about being an athlete is being part of a team. Over the years, I’ve gotten close with my teammates and even athletes from other schools. They feel like family, and through tough practices, we support and push each other to be our best. It’s incredibly rewarding to see our hard work pay off, and I’m grateful to be surrounded by such encouraging and dedicated people. Over the years, I’ve learned that bringing an athlete is about much more than the sport itself. It comes with responsibility-time management, dedication, integrity, and self-motivation. But the most important lesson I’ve learned is that mindset matters most. You could have natural talent, but your attitude — how you approach practices and losses — defines your growth. If you want to get where you want to be, only you can achieve it because no one else can do it for you.
