Aloha Kakou, my name is Usher and I am Maui Humane Society's Pet of the Week. I came to Maui Humane Society back in April from a home with over 20 dogs. It was a lot to adjust to, and while I can be shy at first, I promise there’s a loving heart waiting to shine once I feel safe. With some gentle love, patience, and a few tasty treats, I start to come out of my shell. The shelter is a tough place for me, it’s loud and stressful, and I really need to find a calm, loving home by October 30. I’d do best with another sweet, friendly female dog who can help me feel more confident. I’ve been through a lot, but I still believe my best days are ahead. I’m ready to give all my love to the person who gives me a chance.
