Libraries help to collect food
The Maui Food Bank is partnering with other groups and the Hawaii State Public Library System on a weeklong food drive to support food banks statewide.
All libraries in Maui County are serving as drop-off points, excluding Lahaina, through Friday.
The project is in response to the federal shutdown of food assistance programs this month. To donate, support or volunteer, visit hawaiifoodbank.org/kokua.
