Aloha, kakou! My name is Marty and I am Maui Humane Society's Pet of the Week. I came to Maui Humane Society back in February when I was just a tiny kitten in desperate need of help. I was scared of everything and really sick, but thanks to some amazing foster homes who gave me love and patience, I got healthy and strong. I’ve been here for over nine months now, and even though everyone takes great care of me, I really don’t want to grow up in the shelter. I’m still a little shy sometimes, but once I feel safe, my playful and curious side shines through. I love chasing my little fuzzball toys and spending time with other cats — they help me feel brave! I dream of finding a patient and loving ‘ohana who will give me the time I need to blossom.
