QKC to host multiple pop-up shops in December
Queen Kaʻahumanu Center is celebrating the holidays by featuring several Hawaii-based creators and brands in a series of pop-up shops throughout December.
Lokal Vibes will be near the Macy’s women’s entrance and will release new designs, apparel and accessories, including rompers, pullover sport shirts, tumblers and wallets.
Manaola Hawaiʻi will be on the first floor between Bath & Body Works and Mise Kimono from Dec. 5-7 with collections rooted in cultural storytelling and featuring traditional Hawaiian motifs brought to life through modern silhouettes, quality craftsmanship and a vision for Hawaiian fashion.
Kahulaleʻa, on the first floor by Bath & Body Works, will present a Native Hawaiian-owned aloha wear boutique from Dec. 12-14. The line was founded by KĔhaulani Nielson, who is also a hula practitioner.
Happy Wahine, located near the front entrance on the first floor across from Starbucks, will be at the center from Dec. 5-24, offering handbags and accessories, as well as travel and lifestyle products and Hawaiian-designed clothing. It was founded by Nancy Cheung and Roland Mayr. The brand was built on a shared love for Hawaii.
