Volunteers are being sought to help plant native species in the Auwahi Forest from 8:30 a.m. until the afternoon, usually around 3 p.m., on Dec. 6.

Those interested in volunteering in the restoration project on Ulupalakua Ranch’s land should email volunteer@auwahiforest.org.

The Auwahi project conducts ecological restoration on Ulupalakua Ranch at Auwahi, a district harboring some of the last and most diverse tracts of native forest in Hawaii.
