BIA Hawaii CEO to talk new training program at Rotary Club of Kahului
The Rotary Club of Kahului will host Roseann Freitas, CEO of Building Industry Association of Hawaii, as its featured speaker at noon Feb. 2 at Tante’s Island Cuisine at the Maui Seaside Hotel.
Freitas will introduce BIA Hawaii’s Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training Program, which is about to launch on Maui and provides free, hands-on training for residents.
The presentation will cover how the program benefits Maui families, what students can expect from it and how workforce development ties into the long-term recovery and resilience.
