Makawao Avenue closed due to fallen power line

Update: Makawao Avenue had reopened as of 5:52 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities are reporting that Makawao Avenue from Olinda Road to Brewer Road is closed due to a fallen power line.
According to a Maui County alert issued Wednesday afternoon, a pole had been damaged and one of the lines was lying on the road.
