Aloha Kākou, my name is Happy and I am Maui Humane Society’s Pet of the Week! I came to MHS as a stray back in November. No one ever came looking for me—but I’m still holding onto hope. My name fits me perfectly because I’m truly one happy guy. Every hello feels like a celebration! I love good company, brighten rooms just by trotting through, and somehow make people laugh without even trying. Lately, though, I haven’t quite been my usual sunny self. The shelter environment has been hard on me, and I’m struggling after being here for so long. I belong in a HOME, with an ʻohana to share my love with. I have so much affection to give and a heart full of aloha. If you want to see what all this sunshine looks like in person, come meet me—I promise I live up to my name!
