Maui County government agencies and services will be closed or modified on Feb. 16 in observance of Presidents Day.

All county offices and swimming pools will be closed. The Lahaina Resource Center at Lahaina Gateway, Recovery Permit Center at the Maui County Service Center in Kahului, Kākoʻo Maui Relief & Aid Services Center at Maui Mall Village in Kahului, Hoʻokumu Hou applications, Hāna, Molokai and Lanai landfills will be closed.

There will be condensed holiday hours from 6 a.m. to noon for the Central Maui Landfill and Maui EKO Compost, and from 8 a.m. to noon for the Olowalu Recycling & Refuse Convenience Center.

Residential trash pickup and the Maui Bus schedules will remain unaffected. All county offices schedules and services will resume Feb. 17.
