Maui County offices, facilities and services will be closed or modified on Thursday, March 26, for the Prince Kūhiō Day holiday.
Closures include all county offices and pools, the Lahaina Resource Center at Lahaina Gateway, the Recovery Permit Center at the Maui County Service Center in Kahului and the Hana, Molokai and Lanai landfills.
There will be condensed holiday hours from 6 a.m. to noon for the Central Maui Landfill and Maui EKO Compost and from 8 a.m. to noon for Olowalu Recycling & Refuse Convenience Center.
Molokai residential trash pickup will occur Friday.
Residential trash pickup for Maui and Lanai and the Maui Bus schedule will not be affected. Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume March 27.
