Haleakala National Park reopens after storms
Both districts of Haleakala National Park are open following the recent storms.
The park reported it had reopened Monday. Visitors are being asked to drive slowly through the park and to watch for wildlife and debris on roadways. The Keonehe’ehe’e (Sliding Sands) Trail and Holua campground remain closed for repairs.
