The Hawaii Department of Transportation said that schools on Maui and Molokai will reopen on Wednesday.

Schools that closed due to the impacts of recent storm systems included Hana High and Elementary School and Paia Elementary on Maui. On Molokai, Kaunakakai Elementary, Kilohana Elementary, Maunaloa Elementary School, Molokai Middle School and Molokai High School were closed due to the recent storm impacts.

Also, Thursday is Prince Kūhiō Day, a state-observed holiday.
