Keanu Lau Hee

Hawaii Community Foundation Vice President of Community Resilience and Strategic Implementation Keanu Lau Hee will be the featured speaker at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset meeting April 21.

The meeting will be held at the YMCA West Side Resource Center in the former Tamura’s building at Emerald Plaza, 226 Kupuohi St.

Hee’s presentation will focus on Maui recovery efforts and the Maui Strong Fund, including how the fund has supported community organizations, housing solutions and long-term rebuilding efforts. She will share where Maui is in the recovery timeline and how upcoming funding priorities will continue strengthening the island’s path forward.

Before stepping into her current executive role, Hee served as senior director of the Maui Recovery Effort and as a deputy in the Maui County Managing Director’s Office and the Office of Recovery.
