Kaiser Permanente offers student health care programs

Kaiser Permanente Hawaii is offering programs for Maui students interested in health care careers, including a career exploration event and a paid summer internship.

A Career Exploration Day will be 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. April 25 at the Kaiser Permanente Wailuku Medical Office. The event, held in partnership with STEMworks, is open to intermediate and high school students and will include hands-on activities and opportunities to meet health care professionals.

The organization is also accepting applications for its Summer Youth Employment Program, a paid internship for high school and college students. The program provides experience in clinical and administrative settings. Applications are due May 1. For more, go to tinyurl.com/3vjvubes.
