A multi-agency, full-scale training exercise will be from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday in Kahului, according to the Maui Emergency Management Agency.

During that time, smoke and emergency vehicles may be visible in the Kahului Harbor and Kahului Airport areas. The training will simulate a variety of emergency scenarios to enhance readiness and ensure a coordinated response among participating agencies.

No live ammunition will be used, and no chemical or biological agents will be included in the training.
