Piilani Highway in Kaupo to close nightly May 4-8
A section of the Piilani Highway in Kaupo will be closed to all traffic except for emergency vehicles from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. May 4-8 for repairs project roadwork.
The East Maui closure is just past Mile Marker 28 on the Piilani Highway. Drivers are asked to avoid the area during nighttime work hours. The road will be closed due to geotechnical work for Maui County’s Waiopai Embankment Repairs project.
