Hawaii nonprofits supporting families and residents in need of affordable housing are being encouraged to submit applications for consideration of grants being awarded this year by the Nareit Foundation, a Section 501(c)(3) organization. The deadline for submitting grant applications is Friday, June 19, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Grants will be presented to selected nonprofits later this year through the Nareit Hawaii Community Giving Initiative. Funding for the grants is provided by donations from REITs (Real Estate Investment Trusts) operating in Hawaii.
