Global Empowerment Mission Hawaii will host a Housing & Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 6 at the Royal Lahaina Resort in Kaanapali.

The event is intended to help residents affected by recent disasters connect with housing opportunities, community resources and support services. Attendees will be able to speak with representatives from organizations providing assistance to Maui residents, learn about available programs, review rental housing listings and connect with others seeking housing.

Participating organizations are expected to include Imua Maui Community Healing Initiative, Aloha House, Maui Economic Opportunity, Maui Food Bank, Hawaii Community Assets, Habitat for Humanity, Legal Aid Society of Hawaii, Pono Legal, Ho’okumu Hou, Maui Long-Term Recovery Group, Our Kupuna, Mark Development Inc. and Global Empowerment Mission, among others.
