Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center is inviting artists to submit work for “Impressions & Imprints,” a juried exhibition featuring printmaking, metalsmithing and ceramics.

Online registration will be open May 12-19. Artwork intake is scheduled 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 19 at the center in Makawao.

According to Hui No’eau, the exhibition explores the shared language of tactile media, examining how touch can leave lasting physical and conceptual impressions. The show highlights the relationship between flat surfaces and sculptural forms and the ways artists transform raw materials.

Artists are encouraged to submit original works reflecting the exhibition theme. Selection notifications will be posted by 6 p.m. May 20 at huinoeau.com.

Nonselected work must be picked up from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 21. Unsold selected work must be picked up from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 25.
