Maui County offices, facilities and services will be closed or modified May 25 for Memorial Day.

Closures include all county offices and pools, the Lahaina Resource Center at Lahaina Gateway, the Recovery Permit Center at the County of Maui Service Center in Kahului and the Hana, Molokai and Lanai landfills.

There will be condensed holiday hours from 6 a.m. to noon for the Central Maui Landfill and Maui EKO Compost and from 8 a.m. to noon for Olowalu Recycling & Refuse Convenience Center.

Residential trash pickup and the Maui Bus system will not be affected.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume May 26.
