Maui resident J.B. Bryant shot a hole-in-one at the Waiehu Golf Course on May 12.

Bryant used a driver when he aced the 235-yard hole.

“It did a bounce on the green, rolled up on the green, hit the pin and went in,” Bryant said.

Bryant has been playing at the municipal link about twice a week for the past 40 years and this is the first hole-in-one on the No. 5 hole. He said he’s had two holes-in-one at the No 16 hole.
